I’m a passionate storyteller who runs a Storytelling Consultancy Story Rock Star. I graduated from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS) and Metro Screen Multi-Platform Producing. I have written, directed and produced short films, documentaries and theatre plays in Australia and the UK. My films have screened at prestigious international film festivals including Palm Springs ShortFest and Flickerfest. I have a particular passion for working with teenagers and on topics highlighting social issues.
I have been nominated twice for the Monte Miller award by the Australian Writers’ Guild first time 2011 for my short film LIV (about a punk that is cyber bullied) and in 2012 for my debut feature film script LOLA (about a deaf musician). I’m a quarterfinalist of the prestigious Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting (The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences) and a Semi-finalist for Final Draft Big Break in the USA.
